A Celebration of the lives of Andrew Short and Sally Gordon

A celebration of the lives of Andrew Short and Sally Gordon will be conducted at the Cruising Yacht Club of Australia (CYCA), 1 New Beach Road, Darling Point, on Tuesday October 20 from 2.00pm onwards. Please note that this event is restricted to family and friends of Andrew and Sally.

It is the wish of Sally's family that she is laid to rest privately, with only her family in attendance, on Friday October 16.

Andrew Short's family will lay Andrew to rest at St. Mary's Cathedral, St Mary's Road (adjacent to Hyde Park), Sydney, on Tuesday October 20, at 10.30am. His friends are welcome to come and pay their respects.

As a mark of respect, the CYCA burgee will be flown at half-mast on Friday October 16 and on Tuesday October 20.

Sally and Andrew's family have requested that in lieu of floral tributes they would be most grateful if such gestures be directed as donations to the CYCA SOLAS Trusts or CYCA Youth Sailing Academy.
