Light winds continued to plague competitors in the final stages of the Auckland - Denerau, Fiji Race. A comparison with the three position tables shows how the O Canada's lead has reduced in the last 36 hours, and she continues to lose distance on the second placed yacht, Wired and is now only(!) 99miles ahead. Race officials have adjusted the projected finish times for the fleet - now likely to be either Friday afternoon or Saturday afternoon, depending on how you do the calculations, the state of inebriation of the calculator, and the wind speed, obviously. ...
