The fourth Maersk/Ronstan/North Sails 18 ft skiff ANZAC regatta will be sailed out of the Auckland Sailing Club, Okahu Bay, from April 22-25. Four boats from Australia will be competing along with 10 boats from NZ giving a solid fleet of 14 boats.

NZ will be privileged to host, one of the Australian competitors, Yandoo sailed by John Winning (Woody).

Woody is the patriarch of the Australian 18 ft skiff fleet and still one of the top five 18 ft skiff sailors in the world. Woody will be very competitive and probably the pick of the Australian participants with Jonathon Witty, Panasonic and Mark Kennedy sailing Coldwell Bankers also very competitive.

The NZ boats will be lead by defending ANZAC champion Chris Skinner in Bassett Plumbing and Trading, national champion Scott Kennedy in Yamaha and recent form boat CT Sailbattens Alex Vallings.

The racing starts each day April 22-25 at 11-00am with 2 races per day.
