CYA National Qualifying Regatta - RVYC Final

Its a wrap, three races were sailed sunday in 10 to 16 knot northerlies. The battles in each fleet for the top spot were decided early with all three event winners decided before the final race.

In the Laser class Luke Ramsay won handily, winning all three of the races today, winning 9 races over the course of the event. Abe Torchinsky ended up a comfortable second with Robert Davis rounding out the podium finishing tied on points with Greg Clunies who ultimately had to settle for fourth overall.

The Radial fleet also had a dominant performer in Jen Spalding, who finished up with 24 points, 15 points ahead of second overall. Claire Merry, the winner of 4 races wound up second 1 point ahead of Isabella Bertold who rounded out the podium.



Adam Roberts and Oliver Bone won the 470 event with only a single finish in the races they completed out of first place. Fraser McMillan and Eric van der Pol finished second with youth worlds rep team of Jacab Chaplin Saunders and Josh Warren rounding out the podium.
