In the 2009 Club Marine Brisbane to Keppel Tropical Yacht Race, Peter Harburg's Reichel Pugh 66 Black Jack claimed a race record of 29 hours 24 minutes 11 seconds. This record is now under serious threat with Lahana and Wild Oats X due to finish around 1800 hours today, Saturday 7 August. Royal Queensland Yacht Squadron sailor Peter Millard and his 98' supermaxi Lahana (the former NZ sloop Konica Minolta) are still holding their own and are leading the fleet of 33 boats.
