It used to be that the way to get fit for sailing involved going for a run, doing a few press-ups and if you got really serious then maybe a light, weights program. A group of four golfers from the Albany (New Zealand) based Institute of Golf (igolf) are using a different form of training - CrossFit - to train for a marathon style relay they will undertake from North Shore City to Wellington, New Zealand from 16-21st August.
