Napier Sailing Club New Year Regatta - The sun was back for Day Two of Napier Sailing Club's New Year Regatta and again Hawke's Bay provided champagne sailing conditions, as described by Principal Race Officer, Tim Sandall. The day started lightly, with a 5 knot northeasterly gradually increasing to around a 12 knot easterly into the afternoon, before fading again towards the end of racing. The sea had a small chop which increased and dropped again with the breeze. With the Tanner Cup and Starling Match Racing Series under way as well, over 100 boats took to the water and ...
