Extreme 40 World Championship was treated to two coastal races with the stunning coastline of Slovenia showcased on day two. In a break from traditional short and fast courses, the six high octane Extreme 40 catamarans raced from their base at Portoroz 15 kilometres along the coast to the bustling port city of Koper and back again. The longer double-point coastal races highlighted the versatility of the class, gave crews an on-water tour of their host country and dazzled spectators with intense action taking place close to the shore.
