Winds solidly around 25 knots and gusting to 35 did not deter Lane Cove fleet of Flying 11 sailors last Saturday 15/10 - in fact the biggest fleet of the season so far faced the starters gun at 2:00pm. The Officer of the Day used his discretion and rather than abandoning racing for these keen junior sailors he set a course of twice up and down the Lane Cove River for them. 1279 The Ritual - Macca Paton and Giorgia Populin was quick off the line and around the windward mark at Alexander Street first but elected not to set ...
