Gosford to Lord Howe Race 2010 - Polaris of Belmont - Gosford Sailing Club's only representative in next weekend's Hempel Paints 36th Gosford to Lord Howe Island Yacht Race, Polaris of Belmont, holds a unique place in Australian ocean racing. No other yacht has competed in more Lord Howe Island Races than Polaris of Belmont and when she contests this year's Sydney Hobart Race it will be her 25th voyage south, equalling the record by an individual yacht.
