Louis Vuitton World Series announcement believed to be imminent

'Louis Vuitton established their own identity in the Louis Vuitton Pacific Series style regattas, which is expected to be rolled onto the World Series.' Richard Gladwell

Sail-World understands that an announcement on a new World Sailing Series is imminent. The new event will be run by a group entitled the World Sailing Teams Association, which is believed to incorporate the major professional yacht racing teams.

The World Series event will be sponsored by Louis Vuitton, it is expected to get underway next year.
