Heemskirk Consolidated Tassie Trio. Ninety Seven, the boat that won the storm tossed 1993 Sydney Hobart race will finish the 198 nautical mile Melbourne to Launceston race around 12.00 noon today. The Farr 47 will cross the finish line at Low Head at the mouth of the Tamar River and around 45 minutes later, they will be at the Tamar Yacht Club at Beauty Point. What a wonderful place to get to, given it's culinary delights, after a rough trip across Bass Strait that was more like a washing machine for most of the journey. She has just over 35nm ...
