NSW Maritime today issued an alert to boaters in the Murray River region due to heavy rains falling across northern Victoria and the Albury area. Regional Manager Scott Kidd today said the heavy rains were expected to flush all manner of debris into the Murray and Murrumbidgee Rivers over the coming days. 'While the conditions are not ideal for boating at the moment, the real caution will be needed over the next fews days and possibly the next few weeks,' Mr Kidd said.
