Australian Yachting Awards - It's been a busy few years for the NYRC Youthsail Program culminating in a very gratifying few weeks for Sailing Coordinator, Paul Blundell and the dozens of Assistant Instructors and Volunteers that help keep the wheels turning and the sails set. Firstly, The Queensland Government's 'Department Of Communities' supplied funding of $50,000. under the Sport & Recreation Active Inclusion Program to help with the purchase of a new soft sided Rescue boat and new Vagabond dinghy's and safety equipment for the clubs Access (Disabled) Program. And secondly, the Youthsail Program was announced as a finalist in ...
