Day two of the Phuket King's Cup looks like delivering some good news for both the sailors and the race committee with stronger winds forecasted. After a light-wind, tactically challenging day yesterday, the sailors will enjoy some more puff if the predicted 10 knot plus east, south-easter eventuates. Add in thunderstorms and a strong outgoing tide and you have an interesting formula emerging for today's racing. Race officer Jerry Rollin expects to send the Racing and IRC1 classes off on a windward/leeward and then a southern island passage race 'only if we have a steady wind'.
