To mark the 10th anniversary of the 1998 Sydney Hobart Yacht Race, as part of tomorrow's divisional winners and overall winner announcement for the Rolex Sydney Hobart 2008, a minute's silence will be held and a wreath cast into the water in memory of all sailors who have died either competing in or returning home after the race.

Father Brian Nichols will lead the Sailor's Prayer.

Presentations will be made for the winners in all divisions of this year's race including IRC, PHS, Sydney 38 and Cruising at the public presentation on Kings Pier Marina, Hobart, at 11:00am on Wednesday 31 December 2008.

The overall winner of the 64th Rolex Sydney Hobart, Bob Steel (Quest), will also be formally presented with the Tattersall's Cup and a Rolex Yachtmaster watch.

Crew who have completed 25 and 40 Rolex Sydney Hobart races will be presented with commemorative medallions.
