A strong north westerly breeze has persisted in the Derwent River all day today, only dying out late this evening.

Strong clear light and high cloud have made for great conditions for photographers.

Crosbie Lorimer enjoyed today's excellent shooting weather - greatly assisted by the wilderness adventure crew 'Wild Thing' with one of their two very fast 'ribs'- and these are some of his pictures of today's finishers.
