Rolex Sydney Hobart -Wild Oats XI takes Line Honours

With a triple reefed main and a number four, the supermaxi Wild Oats XI powered past the Iron Pot 11 miles from Hobart, just before 0830 local time.

She had blasted across Storm Bay with the north wester gusting into the mid 20's; she is now approaching John Garrow light in the River Derwent, she has shaken out one reef and has a number 2, its blowing 15-20 knots.

Behind her, Grant Wharington's Skandia was five miles from the Pot and Matt Allen's Ichi Ban was seven miles west of Cape Raoul.
