Grant Wharington is the owner skipper of the super maxi Wild Thing which won the 2003 Sydney Hobart race and is amongst the serious contenders in the 2010 Rolex Sydney Hobart Race. Wharington calculates he will be taking 800kg less crew weight south on this year?s 630 nautical mile ocean classic and that will possibly give him a winning edge.
