Ocean currents and sea surface temperatures off Australia?s New South Wales? coast are looking very interesting in the lead-up to the 2010 Rolex Sydney to Hobart Yacht Race, according to oceanographic data specialist Tidetech. In a similar fashion to last year, a large eddy of warm water is forming offshore which indicates strong southerly surface currents.
