Skandia Sail for Gold 2010, Weymouth UK. Today we saw the gold fleets split off. The majority of the sailors were dispatched to silver and bronze fleets - with no more chance at the podium. But if that was a deep cut, then the next will hurt even more, as many top seeds have just one more day to rescue themselves. Tomorrow night the top ten will be decided for Saturday's medal races, and if you have to be in it to win it. The 470 Women have been brutally competitive all week, as we highlighted yesterday.
