You could have been forgiven for thinking Websters Twinfisher, the specialist Aluminium catamaran builder based in Orange, had decided to quietly disappear.
But nothing could be further from the truth, in the last few months Daniel and Kelly Schofield who have owned the business since 2004 have been hatching out plans to take this iconic brand back to market and once again demonstrate why this unique product is considered by many to be the ultimate trailable fishing rig in Australia.
'We have spent quite some time making some subtle improvements to the design of the boat' said Daniel Schofield, who also mentioned these changes 'were prompted by feedback from our very loyal customer base'
'It is now time to focus on making sure more people are aware of the benefits of owning a Websters' said Kelly 'Most of our owners tell us that they would not consider any other boat now because of the unique attributes of our boats'
So what will we see from Websters, well the most significant change is the approach to the dealers, long time dealer and supporter of the product Inverloch Marine now managed South Australia and Tasmania as well as Victoria and Cat specialists Webbe Marine have recently come on board as the dealer for New South Wales and ACT, the company is still looking for a reputable dealer to bring on board in Queensland.
And keep an eye open for the boats at Sanctuary cove, Sydney and Melbourne boat shows.
Websters are now also offering a five year warranty on all products manufactured, this adds to recent upgrades to the range, that make the Websters boats the best choice for serious boaties looking for a safe, seaworthy platform for all kinds of on water activity from fishing to diving to just getting out there and enjoying a day on the water.
