Prominent Bellerive Yacht Club member Jeff Cordell finished his club's Winter Series on a winning note today, clinching an overall victory in Division 1 at the helm of his Mumm 36, Host Plus Executive, with a race five win under both PHS and AMS handicaps. Today's final race was sailed on a wet and windy day on the River Derwent, with a sou'sou'westerly breeze of up to 20 knots, with some stronger gusts sweeping down from the snow-capped Mount Wellington.
