I will naively assume that you are highlighting that social distancing and mask wearing which were intended in reducing the spread of an airborne virus were effective in reducing the spread of an airborne virus.

Makes you wonder if it also reduced the spread of Covid compared to what it would have been like otherwise. Well it makes me wonder anyway.

I retract my assumption that it was about effective control of airborne virusses and go with one of the following:

A) - The illuminati were too short staffed to coordinate more than one virus at a time.

B) - The guys at WHO were too scared to go to work so they submitted no reports on the flu for the entire period.

C) - The paperwork in accidentally releasing new strains of the flu were too onerous on the Big Pharma guys so they only sent the new one out.

D) - Big Pharma want to delay the release date of the next flu as they are making so much money from Covid.


Now that I see them written out it is clear that one or more of these are the answer. Clearly masks and lockdowns don't work as some doctor somewhere said they didn't.

On that scale it looks like whooping cough and measles deaths were near zero prior to vaccination and very little change since.

What it doesn't show is that in the years leading up to vaccination, the modern standard of care for children had stalled at reducing deaths from measles at around 300 dead kids a year in the US alone.

Society didn't accept 300 dead kids from a disease when vaccination became available, with widespread in the US the number of deaths from Measles dropped to single digits or less.

And now thanks to 'silenced anti-vaccine' career misinformation spreaders*, those deaths from a vaccine preventable disease are rising around the world.

We should treat the vaccine injured like returned war veterans with injuries. They took the vaccines for the greater good. It was marketed as 'safe & effective'. Clearly it wasn't for many people.

If the Government or your workplace mandated it & you got injured, then you should be entitled for compensation. Anything less than that & it's a scandal.

I applied for the covid vaccine compensation scheme in May of 2022. Jabbed October 2021I finally got a response last week April 2023 asking for me to organise appointments with my cardiologist, immunologist & GP so that they can all confirm and rule out any other cause of my autoimmune condition that's continually enlarging my heart.
The covid compensation scheme in Australia is so overwhelmed and under staffed that it's not coping. I've spoken with many staff there who all sound depressed as hell after speaking with hundreds of thousand's vaccine injured people.
My doctors are in disbelief that it's taken so long for a response and that they want it in writing AGAIN. It will slowly come out how absolutely incompetent Australia was when it came to covid. But yeh sure move along

In regards to finding many other similarly unlucky people on this forum, there's probably not many.

The proportion of reported Adverse events to Doses administered is so low that it just highlights how rare your situation is.

As of 2nd April this year, there had been 65,664,650 doses administered in n Australia (approx 2.5 times our population) registered with TGA.
There had been 138,117 adverse event reports (including headaches, fevers, chills, muscle soreness) .

So I'd be very surprised if the COVID compensation scheme is actually having to deal with "hundreds of thousands" applications.

However, I'm sorry to say your case is possibly being held up by people like my mate . He had a Pfizer dose, then about 9 months later had an event sort of similar to yours but it resolved itself in a couple of months (bit of a scare with his lungs and heart and rampant inflammation). What he is trying to hide from the review of his application is that in the 6 months prior to his "reaction" he had: RSV, then Flu, then COVID, then Viral Pneumonia. Any one of those viruses could have triggered onset of his episode.

But I hope that you can get the assistance you need and there is a change for the better in your health

No, not the same at all!

With plumbing or electrical you can say that it is done and can even test it.

With this sort of 'research' you just join the dots even if the dots aren't in a line, the same size, the same colour, and even if they are invisible, and arrive at whatever you wanted to, while also ignoring any dots that don't work with your story (oh sorry, the word is narrative if you are in the know ).

The great thing about 'doing your own research' is that you are actually just copying what someone else has sent you, so it saves you effort too. It is generally of the type that cannot be verified or demonstrated, but it just is, so it saves a lot of time.

The only "research" you need to do is look at anything on YouTube.
ALL medical advice and conspiracy theories on YouTube are 100% true, you just write it has been peer reviewed and all the tin hatters get suckered into it. lol
Social media is their research, it's a shame they gobble up the crap they get fed, then copy and paste it on other social media sites thinking they have personally uncovered the truth.

Anyhow, there is value in the theory that anti vaxxers are disproportionately get injuries, it's not that they get them more often, it's more so that they are in tune and getting tested for them.

Like in Mark Skidmore's survey where he found:
-people who knew someone who experienced a health problem from Covid19 were more likely to be vaccinated.

-People who knew someone who experienced a health problem following vaccination were less likely to be vaccinated themselves.

The survey also found that despite having lower vaccination rates as a political demographic, self-identifying Republicans were more likely to know someone who had an adverse reaction to vaccination.

The paper has been retracted over methodology issues.

But I like to think it shines a light on why people might be more prone to report things that align with their world view, beliefs and background.
