It's that time of year again and WAKSA's Redkite Charity Downwinder is fast approaching. This year we have decided to combine it with a bit of a Xmas Party with some beers and a barbecue at Floreat Surf Lifesaving Club. The event will be on the 11th of December. As usual a bus will pick up participants from Brighton Beach at midday with the idea to be on the water at Leighton at 1pm. We'll be at Floreat Surf Lifesaving from 4 onwards for a Redkite prize giving for highest fundraiser followed by some snags and brewskis. Redkite is a great cause and with this in mind WAKSA has negotiated a one off membership for this event for non members of $30. If you have got any mates who have stubbornly refused to get KA membership but love chipping in for a good cause, this could be the event for them! They need to jump on WAKSAs website and get a Redkite registration number and then they are good to go!
