What's it like to be a Professional Kiteboarder?

“The bubble is us, it’s ours. The bubble is our friends, our enemies, the good, and the bad. The sunny days, the clouds, the storms, the planes, the airports, the taxi rides and delays. The comps, the photoshoots, interviews, and the fans. The new tricks, the injuries, and the crashes. The adventures, and the lifestyle that we live. The bubble is everything, and nothing at all.”

A mysterious man makes the statement above, and while telling you everything, tells you nothing at all. So what is this ‘Bubble’ he speaks of?

Rewind to your last kiteboarding holiday. Remember the feeling of living, eating, breathing kiteboarding? All you think about is the wind, your next session, your gear you ride. That’s what it’s like for professional kiteboarders.

We wrote about it when they first started, and announced a video without a website, a trailer or a real idea on what adventures they were about to embark on.
