Fiona Wylde claims "Double Downwinder" SUP Title 3x
Hood River Hometown Hero Fiona Wylde claimed her third straight Gorge "Double Downwinder" title after putting on phenomenal performances in the bumps at Saturday's Columbia Gorge Paddle Challenge, with the hometown hero holding off a strong field of elite women SUP Racers including Terrene Black, Annie Reickert and French Starboard teammate Amandine Chazot.
New Caledonian native Clement Colmas showed up the big names in downwind paddling with great performances in both downwinder races to finish in an impressive second place overall in the men's elite field after fellow New Caledonian Noic Garioud, who took home the overall title.
